Artist Statement
My practice investigates the intersection of Futurist principles and contemporary procedural systems. Working primarily in digital sculpture, I explore how motion, speed, and mechanical force can be encoded into three-dimensional form through algorithmic processes.
Drawing on the legacy of Boccioni, Duchamp-Villon, and the Futurist sculptors, I reconstruct and reinterpret their investigations into dynamism using SideFX Houdini and custom procedural rules. Each work begins as a set of constraints — velocities, forces, temporal decay — that the system resolves into sculptural geometry.
This practice sits independently from my applied work in AAA game development. Where that work is collaborative and production-driven, these sculptures are research-led: each piece is an experiment in translating art-historical ideas into computational form.
