About this work
The Velocity Field Studies are a series of small-scale sculptures generated by encoding directional force data into geometric deformation. Each study uses a different initial primitive (sphere, torus, box) and subjects it to the same velocity field — revealing how form and force interact.
Study #3 begins with a torus and applies a spiralling vector field. The resulting form suggests rotational momentum captured in solid material — a frozen whirlpool rendered in white PLA filament.
